Classroom Access

While many of the buildings at CUA are accessible, there unfortunately are some that because of their age do not completely meet the ADA Guidelines.  Therefore, students who need to make sure their classes are in buildings that will accommodate their needs should:

  • Request priority registration
  • Confirm on Cardinal Station the location of their classes
  • If the class is not located in an accessible location, students should make every attempt to switch sections if another one is accessible
  • If switching sections is not possible, notify DSS and DSS will work with the Registrar to do what we can to move the class to an accessible location

Some students may not be able to get across campus between classes in the allotted time period due to their disability.  Students should:

  • Request priority registration
  • Try to schedule classes with enough time between them
  • If this is not possible, notify DSS and DSS will work with the Registrar to do what we can to move the class to an accessible location that is closer to the other class

If there are any other disability issues that pose challenges, notify DSS and our office will work with you
